At last, the big day's nearly here! Tomorrow, The Ravening will be officially released in paperback and ebook formats, and as an audiobook read by the brilliant Emma Powell.
Just in time for that, another terrific advance review has dropped, this time from Matt at Runalong The Shelves:
"This was incredibly readable, and I sped through it wanting to know what happened next in one night. Church is skilled at getting action focused plots in a recognisable Britain that feels like it is in the 2020s even if it respects past traditions and that the final outcome never feels very predictable means I’m quite engaged. Highly recommended for horror fans."
Many thanks, Matt!
And so the last few hours tick away on the countdown....
I'll be back and trumpet the release from the rooftops in the morning, of course. In the meantime, here's some Ladytron. I love this band, and their album Witching Hour provided the soundtrack when I was writing the first draft of The Ravening. This comes from a later album, Velocifero, but anything by Ladytron is usually good.
Till tomorrow,
Daniel. :)
